Repetitive strain injury - Repetitive strain injury, also called repetitive stress injury or typing injury, is an occupational overuse syndrome affecting muscles, tendons and nerves in the arms and upper back. It occurs when muscles in these areas are kept tense for very long periods of time, due to poor posture and/or repetitive motions.

Stress-strain curve - A stress-strain curve is a graph derived from measuring load (stress - σ) versus extension (strain - ε) for a sample of a material. The nature of the curve varies from material to material.

Strain (injury) - A strain is an injury which occurs to a muscle in which the muscle fibers tear as a result of overstretching. Strains are also known as pulled muscles.

Cubital tunnel - The Cubital Tunnel is a channel which allows the Ulnar nerve (commonly known as the "funny bone") to travel over the elbow. Chronic compression of this nerve is known as Cubital Tunnel Syndrome, a form of Repetitive Strain Injury akin to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
